We had such a nice and relaxing weekend. We did have a first in the Meeks household this weekend. Ryan and Bo had a boys outing Saturday night while Mommy got some much needed shopping time with the girls. During the boys outing, Ryan bought Bo his first baseball glove..it is the cutest thing!!! Bo absolutely loves it. He played catch for me all night when he got home. In fact, he loved it so much he decided that he needed a batting helmet as well. Yes, this helmet is an adult small.....my child has a HUGE noggin. I mean, the helmet is a wee big right now, but in a few months it will fit just fine. Bo wanted one in every color, but we ended up buying him a red helmet to wear to Ryan's baseball games......I think he wants to start his batboy duty early. After our Sunday shopping trip to Dick's, we decided we would shop for a bed for Bo. He is going to be out of his crib in no time and we will need a bed for him. There is much debate about to bunk or not to bunk.....that is the question around here. Ryan and I both like bunk beds, but it seems everyone else is trying to convince us to just buy a twin bed with a trundle. After much searching today, we found the cutest bed at Haverty's. It is identical to the pottery barn blue bunk (twin over full) except the price tag is half of pottery barn's. I think we might go with this one, however nothing is set in stone yet. I just love the blue furniture, I think it fits Bo perfectly. Not to mention Bo really liked it also. Decisions, Decisions........After our shopping adventure we all came home, turned off all the ringers on the phones and took naps....it was sooo nice. After naptime we went to Meme's and had dinner with the clan. I tried to get a picture of Bo and his cousins all cooperating but that is impossible for Children under 5. Bo always has a great time playing with Colton, Sydney and Teagan. Dinner was yummy. We soon returned home for baths and bedtime. That was our weekend in a nutshell.
