Seminoles!

Saturday, September 25, 2010:  We took Bowen to his first Florida State football game.  It was such an exciting day.  When we arrived in Tally we were starving, so of course we headed straight to our old favorite place to eat, hoping that it would still be there, and much to our surprise it was!  Bagel, Bagel...oh how I have missed you and your TBCC.  After lunch we headed to the stadium...wow, what a beautiful place.  They were in the process of adding on and building around it when I graduated but it is truly magnificent now!  Our seats were AWESOME...40 yard line about 15 rows up.  It felt like we were on the field.  Bo was very impressed and the only thing he insisted he do at the stadium was eat nachos and drink a coke, so of course we indulged.  It was an awesome day!  I  hope we can make this a yearly ritual.  Maybe next year we can stay for the weekend.

My new toy

My oh so sweet husband decided to surprise me with a tiny gift.  I have been wanting a tiny, itsy, bitsy camera to carry in pocket to take pictures without having to lug my enormous camera around.  He thought the timing was good considering we have a very special trip planned for tomorrow.  You will have to stay tuned to find out where the Meeks will be going!  I will post pics from the new camera before the weekend is over journaling our surprise trip....stay tuned for pics from the new camera!

Bo's First Lost Tooth

Saturday, September 18th...our big boy lost his first tooth!  It was so loose from wiggling it for a week straight.  Bo was adamant that he pull his own tooth out, so...Ryan and I gave him a paper towel and 10 seconds later he yelled, "It's out!"  He was holding his little tooth in his hand.  He was so proud of himself yet I had tears in my eyes because I realized that he was no longer a baby:(  The first picture I took a week before he lost the tooth because I wanted a picture with a whole set of baby teeth.

Fall Ball

Nothing better than fall weather than fall ball..baseball, football...doesn't matter 'cause it's all fun to watch!  Here are pics from our first game.  Go Rockies!

Labor Day at the Lake

We are enjoying the last few weekends of summer soaking up the fun on Jackson Lake!

Happy Birthday Pop

Pop and Gam just returned from Alaska in time to celebrate Pop's birthday.  We had a nice dinner at Southern Pit followed by cake...yummy!  Happy Birthday Pop!
